My morning started out with the clashing sound of the metal mug cover @ around 0520hours. My mum and I jumped out thinking something happened to my dad, thank god its not. The relief did not last a single minute. Carrying his umbrella"walking stick", he tried to make his way to the bathroom. I knew something was wrong that instant, I followed behind as a precaution. He suddenly became weak on his knees, he nearly fell towardsthe toilet door but was stopped by my pull. The next thing I knew he was on sitting on the floor, with my legs supporting his back like a chair.
995 was dialled, my dad was already semi conscious at the moment. Stroke was the 1st word that came to my mind. I carried him from the kitchen to the living room, resting him on a chair and his body seems to have lost control on one side. That was the last time I saw him with his eyes opened.
I reached TTSH, only to see my mum sitting on the row of chairs along the Emergency Department. We helplessly waited for a medical officer to explain to us his condition. A lady wearing blue apron approached us, the keyword is not stroke, its lung. "He is seriously very very sick" said the senior consultant. "We will need to admit him to the ICU" she continued.
The last time we saw him alive was the transit from the Emergency Department to the ward, thereafter follows series of medical investigations at the bed 25 of ward 6B. A very long and unhelpful one.
Updates are not available till I approached the medical staff.
At first, I was only informed that he was very seriously sick, strong medications are already on. Shown on the X ray monitor, one side of his lungs are almost white, infected. Chances of him making it through Sunday night was very slim. 30minutes after that, I pestered the doctor to give me updates, the remaining time was shrunk to barely 20minutes.
WHY WE WERE NOT INFORMED? IF I DON'T ASK, YOU DON'T TELL?
Time was clicking, my mind was as white as the X-ray image. There were at least 7 medical staff in there, and did I mention the amount of machines?
Times out, Game Over, the medical staff preferred the term "Expired".
One doctor came to me, talk alot of what they did. I replied: "Please tell me his current condition". "His expired"...
Everything is over. I was weak, I broke down. Everything he did was for the family, but I am LATE to pay him back for my upbringing.
Helplessness is the word that perfectly describes me.
Wait. and more wait. there are not a chance to see his final moments.
My mum returned from the toilet. I cried and shouted across the ward: "He's gone"
Wait, we still can't go in. We need for them to clear their stuffs.
We can't see his final moments, and now we have to WAIT. well done.
My mother asked me to help her call her younger brother, who knows the undertaker services. Everything eventually took its course. And her i am typing this.
Everytime i blogged, IT must be something really good, or something really bad.
For this case, just a message to myself to become a useful man, work hard, as not to disappoint my dad expectations.
His expectations was not high, I don't need to be a doctor, a lawyer. I just need to be someone useful to the community. And to take care of his wife.
And heres a message to all my friends, if you have something to do, or say to your close ones, don't wait. Tell him/her the 3 magic words, I LOVE YOU. I didn't manage to tell him that, and now he is motionless in the wooden crate. You thought that you can wait, but no one knows whether can he/she wait for you.
Keep in mind, no parents would do harm to their children. Whatever they said or do have its reasons.
Don't wait till the last minute, because you can wait, TIME CAN'T.

Its been a long time since I last updated my blog.
Another crash I had for events was on 30th Jan 2010, which is a date for a major cosplay event in Singapore; SOY'B event short for Start of Year'B. Days/weeks before the event, whenever I am free, I will go down to NP to accompany cosplayers to chiong their costume/props. It was really fun.
Before the event, I met two cosplayers to do a mini BIRIBIRI shoot. ^^ At the event itself, I was more of the iwannaenjoytheeventmeetingnewandoldpeoplemode. So didnt really took many photos. Photos can be found here. ^^ left the event around 4.30pm for another event.
Rachel Liang's Live Band performance at LUNAR ASIAN FUSION BAR. really have to thank Evonne for getting me the LIVE BAND ticket, and Jason for getting my the NTU performance ticket which happens on the 28. Also attended her 合影簽名會. was very fortunate to attend all of her event this time.

My most frequent opened programs of 2009 was Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro.
Got lotsa new PSP and NDS games out in Winter 2009, but totally no chance to touch them.
Gonna concentrate on my Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver and having fun everyday walking with 2 Pokewalkers!

next step in my life is to get a job, support my family, get a girlfriend, and upgrade my equipments ^^

Thanks for the many support for making Eriol aka Kami JIJI to be a cosplay photographer till now. It was one year ago I started out on Cosplay photography. ヾ(＠°▽°＠)ﾉ
EOY 09 ended with a bang and the the stage and the performance of Yui Makino was really very thoughtful. Saw alot of old friends and meet new ones too.
Photos processing are almost done.

Talking about friends, I wonder why sometimes people only see the surface. You are not blind, neither do we.
We had our own reasons and logic of doing things, this is earth.. DUH.. you are a human. You can't control how things works. NO MATTER HOW FUCKING RICH YOU ARE. Smart or not, its your business don't need to go around telling the whole world.
When you are left out you feel hurted, never thinking of how other feels when you did the same to them.
Reasons don't work on you. People gave up. People walked away.
Fault always lies on others, You are always the fairygodmother that does all the holy good stuff.
Money was never a problem for you, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. yes, thats YOU[if you are reading you will probably know its yourself], NOT YOUR FAMILY, not your petdog, your classmates or the freaking world.
As people know each other longer, our bonds become stronger and we cherish our times we shared together. NOT TRAMPLING over them.
PS. I am not getting involved in this shitstorm which YOU cooked up and stirred up to the climax yourself. Clean up your own mess, don't expect people to side you for things you twisted with your sugar, spice and chemical X.
